The solar panel that actually keeps up with a British winter

Solar lights have a reputation for fading by February. The honest reason: most use cheap polycrystalline panels that convert only 15–20% of available sunlight into stored energy.

SentryBeam uses monocrystalline silicon — the same grade used on residential rooftop systems — pushing conversion efficiency up to roughly 30%.
