There's a particular kind of doubt that lives in the back of your mind every time you mount a scope by hand. Did I tighten that ring enough to hold zero? Or did I crank it too far and risk crushing the tube? You shouldn't have to guess with the components you trust your shot to.

Picture the next time you set up. You seat the ring, click the driver to the figure you want, and feel it stop dead the instant you reach it. No second-guessing, no creeping back to give it “just a touch more.” You know it's right because you set it to right — anywhere from 15 to 65 inch-pounds (1.7–7.3 Nm), the same every time, on scope rings, mounts and action screws alike. The doubt simply isn't there any more.

You reach into your bag, and the tool's already turning before a stiff screw would have beaten you — the ratcheting head bites in tight clearance where an ordinary driver just spins your knuckles against the rail. A magnet on each end holds the bit so you're not chasing a dropped screw through the grass. Two minutes later you're back on target, while the bloke beside you is still packing up to drive home.

And when it's your Glock that needs attention, the dedicated bit pack is waiting in the back of the case: a thin-wall front sight driver that grips the screw on its own magnet so it can't tumble into the slide, and a pin punch sized to drift every pin out cleanly by hand.
